MyLeadSystemPro L.I.S.T. Building with Nicole Cooper

Nicole Cooper is a Top Leader in the MyLeadSystemPro Attraction Marketing platform, and she recently gave a webinar presentation entitled ‘10,187 reps in 10 months and counting’ about how she got started with MyLeadSystemPro, what strategies worked for her to get her started, and gave some advice and tips on the strategies and tools she recomends today.

In this post i want to discuss the subject of L.I.S.T. Building.

This version of list building isn’t about how to drive traffic to your opt-in page, it’s about the steps involved in becoming a Leader, and becoming a person of value to others.

Simply put, L.I.S.T. stands for:

L Learn

From someone starting out, to seasoned veterans of our industry, this 4 step cycle applies, and yes by cycle i mean it repeats, and repeats, again, and again, and again… you get the point!

In today’s information age, in a time when new technology is constantly being developed, with ever changing social trends, the Top Leaders are constantly learning, and developing new skills, and finding new tools to use to their advantage.

I Implement

Then, they take this new knowledge and implement what they have learned into their business model, and put it to work for them. Backed up with continuous testing, and tweaking, and tracking of the results, sooner or later something good will emerge that is having a positive benefit to the business – i.e. something that is getting results.

S Share

Of course, in the MLM industry, it’s not enough to be good at something on your own, it’s really a team activity, so what do you do?

You go out and share what you’ve learned with your team, with your followers, or your list, and to anyone prepared to listen.

You let them know what you are trying, what results you are getting, what’s working, and what’s not.

Become a pro at giving people tons of info for free.

T Teach

Finally, once the results are coming in you start to teach others to do what works for you, what gets you the best results.

When your team is able to get the same results that you do, and when your followers can get the results you do, how powerful do you think that is for your image? and your business?

In this business, you need to be able to learn, to implement, to share, and to teach in order to hit the top ranks.

Understand the common challenges of your target market

Now, you might be thinking that’s all well and good, but how do i know what i need to learn?  What can i learn that will be the most benefit to me, and my team, and my followers?

If you understand the common challenges of your target market, and work to provide solutions to them, do you think people will listen?  Do you think people will be interested to hear how you solved their most pressing problems?

Of course they will, and how do you think they will look at you for showing them the way?  As the Leader you have become.  Sounds good to me.

What Are The Biggest Challenges in MLM?

All three of these cause people to quit this industry, and accounts for almost all of the attrition in your team.  Attrition can be resolved if you could just get a check in your teams hands.

If you can learn how to generate traffic, turn that traffic into leads, enroll some leads into a business, or affiliate offer, or platform like MyLeadSystemPro, earn some money to fund your efforts, and pass that along to others that immediately makes you valuable to all of those reported 97% of network marketers who fail to do any of that.

Where Do You Learn New Stuff?

Write a content peice from every webinar and presentation you attend, every article or blog post or book you read, every training session your company holds, or your team does, every live event you go to – if you learned something new, pass it on!

Think about this for a minute – if all you need to do to become valuable is learn something someone else doesn’t know, and be able to share what you’ve learned with them – how hard can it be to get started?

The more you learn and implement, the more valuable you become.  The more you share the more people will notice you.  The more you teach, the faster your rise to Leadership will be.
