Welcome to Geordie Abroad!

Hello to all ye lads and lassies who happen to have found my little plot of the internet!

The name of my blog is a simple one:

Geordie because of where i was born and raised, and Abroad because i live in another country, the United States in fact, these days.

For those who might not already know, a Geordie, is essentially anyone who comes from the North East of England, specifically around Tyneside or Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. If you are curious to know more, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geordie.

I’ve been here in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, since 2004, as a Permanent Resident and will likely apply for Citizenship when it’s time to renew my residency card.

Through this blog i want to share my experiences of life in America, and my life On-Line… i’m not sure which place i spend more time in
